She sank on Feb. 3, 1913 NW of Kullen in Kattegatt after collision in fog with the Norwegian S/S Fancy while on a passage from Hull to Copenhagen with coal and general cargo. Crew and passengers of the S/S Urania rescued by the heavily damaged Fancy to Elsinore, Denmark.
