Cypress and
oak trees in Florida
These
pictures were taken in April 2004 at Newnan's Lake in eastern
Gainesville, Florida. The trees growing in the water are Cyprus
trees and the others (mostly) are oak trees (there are a few palm
trees too). The birds are cormorants. You can also see Spanish
moss hanging from the oak trees. Shortly after taking these, I
spotted a rather large alligator eying me from the edge of the
water, so I decided I had gotten enough photographs and walked
(well, ran) to my car.
