Centerville Cemetery
Centerville is the little cemetery
near the area where I grew up. (Wheat, farming, cattle). It is
in the shadow of Mt. Adams. (The Indians thought that Mt. Adams
was a maiden, a lady, and that Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens were
men that fought over Mt. Adams. They threw rocks and lava back
and forth during their fight so that is how the Indians explained
the volcanoes. You can see in the photo that Mt. Adams does look
like a graceful woman.)
