| Notice that the houses of the original four farms were situated on a cape which rose above the sea level in the 11th century (7.5 m level) at the southwestern shore of the then large Byträsket. The major changes since 1693 are for instance cultivation of the Kyrkmossen fields which once were a bay of Byträsket to the west of the farms and the forming of a new outlet and complete drainage and cultivation of the Byträsket. |
